The Mana Up initiative, dedicated to supporting Hawai‘i-based businesses, is currently accepting applications for its tenth cohort of entrepreneurs until February 19. The accelerator program is designed to provide local product companies with essential resources, training, and sales channels aimed at enhancing revenue and creating job opportunities within the community.

Since its inception in 2017, Mana Up has successfully graduated 95 local companies from its program, organized workshops for over 500 businesses, and established a venture capital fund for targeted growth funding. In addition to these efforts, Mana Up conducts retail activities and partnerships to promote local products across Hawaii and has executed Aloha Market pop-ups in major cities globally.

To qualify, applicants must be headquartered in Hawai‘i and offer consumer products in sectors such as food, fashion, beauty, or home goods. Furthermore, their products should reflect the authenticity of Hawai‘i and hold potential for growth beyond state lines. The initiative especially encourages applications from companies generating over $100,000 in annual revenue and those committed to full-time engagement.

The accelerator program spans six months and commences in late May, culminating in an annual showcase. Participants benefit from mentorship, access to sales channels, and essential resources tailored to help them expand globally. Post-program support includes networking opportunities, vendor discounts, and continued access to mentoring and market engagements.

Interested businesses can submit applications through ManaUpHawaii.com before February 19. There are also optional informational sessions scheduled for January 28 and February 11, available both in person and via Zoom. For more information regarding eligibility and program benefits, interested parties can visit the official Mana Up websites.

In summary, Mana Up’s accelerator program offers local entrepreneurs a comprehensive support system to enhance their business prospects on a global scale.
