Turing, a Palo Alto firm that partners with leading AI companies, indicated they hired over 100 graduates from IITs last year and anticipate nearly doubling this number in the upcoming year, with recruitment extending to both established and new IITs.

There is a definitive shift in demand for candidates at Master’s and PhD levels in scientific disciplines, reflecting the evolving requirements of companies. Graviton Research Capital and Da Vinci are among firms offering salaries of ₹90 lakh and ₹2.2 crore, respectively, for distinct roles. International firms like Sony and Honda are also actively recruiting, with compensation reaching up to ₹95 lakh.

Notable salaries include offerings from WorldQuant and various algo trading firms, underscoring the high demand for AI specialists across the industry. Additionally, firms such as Accenture and American Express are recruiting at lower salary brackets, around ₹21 lakh.

Companies like Goldman Sachs, Boston Consulting Group, and Microsoft are also extending competitive offers to IIT graduates, with BCG indicating ongoing growth in their hiring initiatives. Flipkart and Samsung are similarly engaged in recruitment activities, promising substantial salaries for diverse roles at IITs.
